University Of Michigan Reaches $490M Settlement With Victims Of Dr. Robert Anderson

By Nick Dimengo Seattle (Knewz) — Victims of Dr. Robert Anderson — who was accused of sexual abuse by more than 1,000 individuals during his nearly half-decade working at the University of Michigan — have reached an agreement with the school totaling $490 million, per a university release. The university said 1,050 people will share in the settlement, which was agreed upon through mediation. Dr. Anderson, who died in 2008, worked at the University of Michigan from 1966 to 2003 as the director of the school’s Health Service.
