COVID-19 killed nine people in the UK Monday, a decline from Sunday’s 15, taking the death toll to 128,231, the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) said.

Some 27,330 people tested positive for the highly contagious respiratory disease across the kingdom, compared with 24,250 Sunday, as the caseload nears five million, the DHSC added.
