Dozens of Jewish extremist settlers, led by radical rabbi Yehuda Glick, on Tuesday stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque / Haram Al Sharif compound in occupied East Jerusalem.
A statement by the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf said that today’s raid by the radical settlers was carried out from Al- Magharebah Gate under heavy protection of Israeli police, who imposed strict restrictions on the entry of Muslim worshipers to Al-Aqsa, to secure the intruders’ incursions.
The settlers provocatively toured the Al-Aqsa yards and performed their Talmudic rites in front of the the Qubbat al-Sakhrah (Dome of the Rock) Mosque, before they left from Al-Silsila Gate.
This intrusion came ahead of the “flags march” to be organized by settler associations this evening in the old city of Jerusalem.
