Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Ayman Safadi, on Monday is scheduled to meet US secretary of state, Antony Blinken, according to a Foreign Ministry statement.
The discussions will focus on the latest regional developments, mainly the escalation in Jerusalem and the effective action to protect the city, its holy sites, and its inhabitants.
Talks will also touch on the development of the Jordanian-American strategic partnership in all fields.
During his official visit to the US, Safadi will also hold meetings with US National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and a number of senior administration officials, congress members and experts in Washington’s think tanks.
