Director of Public Security Department (PSD), Major Gen. Hussein Hawatmeh, on Sunday discussed with Director General of the Palestinian Civil Police (PCP) Major Gen. Yousef al-Helou, ways to increase joint cooperation on issues of common interest.
Hawatmeh said the PSD harnesses all its expertise to serve the security services workers from brotherly countries, lauding the current level of cooperation with the Palestinian side, especially in the areas of training and police-capacity building.
Al-Helou, for his part, praised the PSD’s level, and its relations with the Palestinian security apparatus, voicing hope to increase cooperation in the field of police training and expertise, which would contribute to serving common interests.
