Poland says it is supplying Ukraine with German tanks

Amman, Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki Monday said Poland would seek Berlin’s approval to provide Ukraine with German Leopard 2 tanks.

According to the Ukrainian News Agency, Moravisky told journalists that in the absence of a”secondary” approval, Warsaw intends to transfer the tanks to Kyiv as part of a “smaller alliance” of Western countries that does not include Germany.

He cited the German foreign minister, “Germany will not stand against the transfer of Polish Leopard 2 tanks to Ukraine,” boring that this gives a “sign of hope.”
