Palestine: 34 new COVID-19 deaths, 988 infections

The Palestinian Minister of Health Mai al-Kaila said on Sunday that Palestine recorded 34 new deaths from the COVID-19 and 988 cases in the last 24 hours.


In a statement, the minister said that 170 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care, of whom 48 connected to respirators, while a total of 493 patients are being treated in coronavirus centers and departments in hospitals across the West Bank.


The total number of Palestinians who received the COVID-19 jab in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip reached 159,976, of whom 23,630 were given the two shots.
