Orange celebrates Independence Day with network name change

Orange Jordan has renamed its network to “Istiklal 77” on the mobile phones of its subscribers in celebration of the 77th Independence Day, which falls on May 25. According to an Orange statement issued Wednesday, the move is part of the company’s celebration program for national events dear to the hearts of Jordanians. The company said it is keen to implement various activities that embody the essence, honor, and values of independence. Orange announced that it will also rename its network to “Al Hussein” on Friday, May 26, to join in the celebration of Jordanians as they rejoice in the upcoming wedding of the Crown Prince on June 1st.
