Mutah, Anbar universities discuss academic cooperation

President of Mutah University, Arafat Awajan, met Tuesday with President of the Iraqi University of Anbar, Mushtaq Taleb Al-Nada.

 

The meeting, held via the teleconference, discussed ways of academic and scientific cooperation and the exchange of expertise between the two universities.

 

Awajan expressed the university’s desire to open up to Arab and international universities and to develop its academic and scientific relations with them in order to achieve the university’s vision and its endeavor to consolidate real partnerships with those universities with the aim of exchanging expertise and academic cooperation, especially scientific research.

 

Awajan showcased the university’s plans and academic programs to attract Arab and foreign students to study in its undergraduate and graduate programs.

 

For his part, Al-Nada stressed the University of Anbar’s keenness to continue and strengthen joint cooperation with Mutah University due to its academic and research reputation at local, regional and international levels.

 

He added that this meeting will pave the way for the signing of a joint cooperation agreement between the two universities soon.

 

The meeting was coordinated by Cultural Counselor at the Iraqi Embassy, Waseem Fadel Al-Tamimi, and was attended by Deans of Student Affairs and a number of officials concerned with international relations and student affairs from both universities.
