Luxembourg Monday said it is freezing Russian assets of over €210 million in a bid to stop the flow of Russian funds to the war against Ukraine.

Reuters cited Luxembourg’s Finance Minister, Yoriko Pax, as saying that Luxembourg froze Russian assets as of Monday. She noted that the decision follows the freezing of other assets last week, with a value of €4.3 billion.

The Ministry was informed of 41 transactions suspected to be related to Russian assets.
