The Lower House decided in an emergency session on Sunday, headed by its Speaker Abdel Moneim Awdat, to dismiss MP Osama Al-Ajarmeh.

108 deputies voted in favor of dismissing MP Al-Ajarmeh, out of 119 lawmakers who attended the session.

According to provisions of Article 84 of the Lower House system, the session, which was convened urgently, came after 109 deputies signed a parliamentary petition to dismiss Al-Ajarmeh.

On the 27th of last month, deputies voted to freeze membership of MP Osama Al-Ajarmeh for one year, after offending the House, its prestige, its reputation, its members and its internal system, and depriving Al-Ajarmeh of participating in the House’s works and cutting his allocations during the freeze period.
