KTM owners skill challenge to kick off Friday

A skill challenge for owners of KTM motorcycles will kick off Friday in al-Alouk, some 25 kilometers north of Amman, to discover the most skillful biker in Jordan.

The challenge puts drivers’ skills to the test on a rugged racing track best suited for adventure bikes.

Tamer Darwazeh, founder of Darwazeh Motors, KTM’s agent in Jordan, said he is thrilled to partner with a global company like KTM, which knows its way to winning podiums and has the trust of many motorcycle athletes across the world.

He praised the achievements of the Red Bull athlete Abdullah Sabe’, who ranked third in the world in the 2022 Baja race and is gearing up to represent Jordan in tournaments at the end of the year.

Al-Alouk was chosen for its unique nature and diverse terrain that fit this exciting and challenging sport.

The Austrian motorcycles company, KTM, was the champion of the Dakar Rally for an 18-year run from 2001 to 2019, in addition to winning first place in races like motocross, enduro, and off-road.
