The Kingdom’s oil bill dropped in the first quarter of 2023 by 0.4%, compared to the same period last year. Value of the Kingdom’s imports of crude oil, its derivatives and mineral oils went down in the first quarter of 2023, to reach JD758 million, compared to JD761 million in the same period last year, according to the monthly report issued by the Department of Statistics (DoS) on Sunday. Fuel and mineral oils topped the Kingdom’s oil imports in the first four months of 2023, amounting to about JD250 million, followed by gasoline at about JD172 million, then crude oil at about JD162 million, diesel at about JD164 million, and lubricants at about JD10 million, the DoS figures showed.
