Jordanian authorities thwart Captagon smuggling attempt

Jordan’s security forces stopped two trucks smuggling Captagon pills into the country at the Jaber customs point on the Syrian border on Wednesday. One of the trucks was carrying iron, while the other carried fruit, a media spokesperson for the customs department said. The drugs were hidden in special caches in the trucks, the spokesperson said.
