Amman, Member of the Executive Committee of the Arab Inter-Parliamentary Union (AIPU), MP Khaled Abu Hassan, on Saturday participated in the 29th meeting of the committee in Cairo.
During the meeting, the MPs discussed subcommittees’ reports, the Arab Parliamentary Excellence Award Committee, and the legal team committee tasked with researching non-binding guiding models for environmental crimes, intellectual property, and cybercrime laws.
Additionally, the Union’s strategy for the years 2023 to 2026 and other agenda items were discussed.
To fully capitalize on the region’s wealth and human potential and advance toward a more stable and prosperous future, Abu Hassan called for greater economic cooperation among Arab states.
