Jewish extremists break into Al-Aqsa compound

Ramallah, Dozens of Jewish extremist settlers stormed the courtyards of Al-Aqsa mosque in the occupied city of Jerusalem on Wednesday.

Sheikh Azzam al-Khatib, director general of the Islamic Endowments Department in Jerusalem, told Petra correspondent in Ramallah that the incursions were carried out through the Mugrabia’ Gate, under heavy protection from the Israeli occupation forces.

He added the incursions were carried out in small and consecutive groups, as the settlers carried out provocative tours at the site.
