Ramallah, Israeli occupation forces on Monday stormed a number of Palestinian towns and erected military checkpoints in the southern West Bank city of Hebron, according to a Palestinian source.
the Popular Committee Against the Wall said that the occupation troops raided Tarqumiyah, Idhna, Beit Awwa and Deir Sammit towns and set up a number of military checkpoints at the entrances of Sa’ir, Halhul and in Khallet Hador in Hebron.
The Israeli soldiers manning the checkpoint have been stopping, searching Palestinian vehicles and checking people’s ID cards, causing serious traffic jams and long delays.
The occupation forces also today erected other military checkpoints on the Mafasir Yatta road south of Hebron.
