Israeli army arrests 15 Palestinians in West Bank raids

Israeli occupation forces on Monday arrested 15 Palestinians during raids across the West Bank and occupied East Jerusalem, according to a local NGO.

The Palestinian Prisoners Club said troops raided areas of Hebron, Bethlehem, Ramallah, Jericho, Nablus, Jenin and East Jerusalem neighbourhoods and rounded up the Palestinians, who were “wanted” by the occupation army.

Local youth also clashed with troops at the entrance to Ajja village south of Jenin in the northern West Bank, during which dozens of people were hurt when soldiers fired rubber-coated metal bullets and tear gas.

Israeli military forces maintained their presence around other villages in the Jenin area.
