The Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip on Sunday reported a new COVID-19 death and 73 new cases during the last 24 hours.
In a daily epidemiological report, the ministry said that the total number of coronavirus cases in the coastal enclave has reached 113,942, including 2,393 active cases and 1,060 fatalities.
“Some 178 COVID-19 patients have recovered, raising the total recoveries to 110,489,” it added.
The report also said that 65 cases needed hospitalization and 42 were serious or critical.
