Health Ministry in the Gaza Strip on Wednesday reported a new COVID-19 death and 140 new cases during the last 24 hours.
In a daily epidemiological report, the ministry said that the total number of coronavirus cases in the coastal enclave reached 114,345, including 2,261 active cases, 111,021 recoveries and 1,063 fatalities.
Some 55 cases needed hospitalization and 37 were serious or critical, it added.
