Minister of Environment, Nabil Masarweh, on Sunday met the Swedish Ambassador to Jordan, Alexandra Rydmark.
During the meeting, the two officials exchanged views on environmental issues of common concern, foremost is climate change, related future visions worldwide, international emergency cooperation to implement projects pertaining to this phenomenon.
The discussions also highlighted the Jordanian and Swedish roles in exchanging experiences in the climate change field, and setting plans and programs to reduce this phenomenon, according to a ministry statement.
The talks, moreover, underscored the two sides’ desire to increase cooperation and coordination frameworks to develop joint development programs.
