The electric load registered Saturday evening had reached 3,120 megawatts compared to the morning load of 2,580 megawatts, according to the National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) data.
The highest load ever recorded in the Kingdom stood at 4,010 megawatts and was recorded last January.
The NEPCO stressed that the power grid in Jordan is capable of enduring any electric load, pointing to plans set in place in preparation for the electric load expected during the summer.
