The Amman Magistrates Court on Sunday held its ninth session on the Salt hospital case, where seven people died due to a lack of oxygen.
In a public session, the court, chaired by Judge Odai Freihat, heard a new prosecution witness, who was cross-examined by the defense attorneys.
The court adjourned the hearing to next Thursday to hear the remaining prosecution witnesses, of whom there are 45 in total.
The 13 defendants, on trial due to an oxygen supply outage at the Salt government hospital, were released by the Public Prosecution after the 30-day custody period ended.
In March, the Public Prosecution opened an investigation into the case, prompting the resignation of the health minister and the arrest of a number of officials at the Ministry of Health.
