The Civil Defense Department (CDD) cadres saved a person from drowning in the Dead Sea area.
The media spokesman for the Public Security Directorate (PSD) said Friday, that the Dead Sea Martyrs Civil Defense Center received reports of an individual drowning in the Dead Sea waters.
In turn, specialized Civil Defense boats immediately moved to search for and rescue the person.
The media spokesman confirmed that the civil defense cadres were able to reach the person and take him out of the sea in a timely manner.
First aid was performed and the man was transferred to the Southern Shouneh Hospital.
The spokesman described the individual’s health condition as moderate.
