Local banks have decided to postpone payments on loans granted to individuals for the month of June, which will coincide this year with the Eid al-Adha, the Association of Banks in Jordan (ABJ) announced on Sunday.
The ABJ said the move is part of the social responsibility of local banks and reflects their commitment to alleviating financial burdens on citizens.
While affirming that there will be no payment delay fines, it stated that those who do not wish to have their June installments postponed should call lenders.
