Arab Parliament Speaker Adel Al-Asoumi and Inter-Parliamentary Union Secretary-General Martin Chungong Saturday discussed Israeli raids into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and ongoing attacks on Palestinians in Jerusalem.
The two sides also discussed the signing of a technical cooperation agreement between the two sides and also talked about issues of interest to Arab parliamentarians, top of which are the need to hold and support Palestinian legislative elections on all Palestinian lands, including Jerusalem, as well as combating terrorism, militant extremism and growing hate speech in Europe against Islam and Arabs.
They also discussed gender equity in the Arab region and cooperation in scientific and technical fields.
