The Syrian Center for Seismology announced that an earthquake of 3.2 degrees on the Richter scale of 9 degrees was recorded today, Sunday, east of Hama, about 77 kilometers away.
The center stated in a statement reported by the Syrian News Agency, SANA, that the tremor occurred at 37.595 longitude and 35.036 latitude, at a depth of 10 kilometers.
