WHY ROSEN LAW: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. Often, firms issuing notices do not have comparable experience, resources or any meaningful peer recognition. Many of these firms do not actually handle securities class actions, but are merely middlemen that refer clients or partner with law firms that actually litigate the cases. Be wise in selecting counsel. The Rosen Law Firm represents investors throughout the globe, concentrating its practice in securities class actions and shareholder derivative litigation. Rosen Law Firm has achieved the largest ever securities class action settlement against a Chinese Company. Rosen Law Firm was Ranked No. 1 by ISS Securities Class Action Services for number of securities class action settlements in 2017. The firm has been ranked in the top 4 each year since 2013 and has recovered hundreds of millions of dollars for investors. In 2019 alone the firm secured over $438 million for investors. In 2020, founding partner Laurence Rosen was named by law360 as a Titan of Plaintiffs’ Bar. Many of the firm’s attorneys have been recognized by Lawdragon and Super Lawyers.

DETAILS OF THE CASE: The complaint filed in this class action alleges that throughout the Class Period, defendants made materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failed to disclose material adverse facts about Digital Turbine’s business, operations, and prospects. Specifically, defendants failed to disclose to investors that: (1) Digital Turbine’s recent acquisitions, AdColony and Fyber, act as agents in certain of their respective product lines; (2) as a result, revenues for those product lines must be reported net of license fees and revenue share, rather than on a gross basis; (3) Digital Turbine’s internal control over financial reporting as to revenue recognition was deficient; (4) as a result of the foregoing, Digital Turbine’s net revenues was overstated throughout fiscal 2022; and (5) as a result of the foregoing, defendants’ positive statements about Digital Turbine’s business, operations, and prospects were materially misleading and/or lacked a reasonable basis. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

Jordan history conference to commence in August

The Thoughtful Archeology in the Ecosphere and Sociosphere – the 15th International Conference on the History and Archeology of Jordan – will kick off on the Yarmouk University (YU) campus from August 2 to 5.

The conference, organized by the YU and the Department of Antiquities, will tackle 13 scientific topics that cover all aspects implied in the conference’s title, said a joint statement issued Sunday by YU, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, and the department.

Over 166 research papers will be presented by scientists, researchers, and academics during the conference, and multiple workshops will be held on the sidelines.

There will be 294 participants in total, 120 from Jordan, 8 from Arab countries (Egypt, Iraq, Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, and the Emirates), and 166 from other countries, including Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Japan, Holland, Spain, Turkey, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

This global gathering, first held in the 1980s in Oxford, UK, as a Prince Hassan bin Talal initiative, is regarded as a major international event that allows researchers to present a summary of their scientific output on Jordan and the Levant’s history and archeology.

The conference, which is held every three years, gives scholars the chance to converse and share knowledge while also highlighting Jordan’s history on a national, regional, and global scale.

Over the last decade, countries such as Germany, France, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, and Italy have competed to host the event alternately with Jordan.

Exploring beyond the borderlines with Jude Zawaideh

Jude Zawaideh, a 21-year-old artist, isn’t the typical person who loses track of their dreams when they wake up. Zawaideh explores the mind-matter duality in the dream state in an art gallery called “Borderlines.”

Jude Zawaideh is self-taught artist who has a passion for creating. In an interview with Petra, Zawaideh says she is inspired by her innermost feelings and thoughts. Her observations of peoples mannerisms allow her to gain insight into how they work and this inspires her art. Her work serves as a reflective medium that pushes towards notions of self-awareness and exploration.

“Borderlines” is Zawaideh’s second solo show. It features 12 pieces which were on display in Swefiyeh Village on July 21 – 23. There’s a lesson here, she says, for everyone: Accepting your ever-changing nature is essential to finding your own inner truth, as is stepping outside your usual boundaries and comfort zone altogether.

According to Zawaideh, each piece is unique and captures the various physical and mental states she was in while creating it. “They are all different yet connected, just like how we change over time.” “The paintings are reflections, and I’ve accepted them for what they are, so I love them all,” she explained. The series alternates between the artist’s tangible and intangible realities, both in and out of a dream, and the ability to control one’s next decision.

The various contexts in which Zawaideh uses the body illustrate the materiality of some of the feelings felt in such a state. She does a good job of capturing the contrast between the material conscious world and the dream world.

However, the artist did not achieve this level of success easily. It took her a long time as a young woman to gain the courage to exhibit her artwork to the world. “I’ve always encountered negative comments about how simple art is and how it’s not a legitimate career path,” said Zawaideh.

She emphasized that after being subjected to so many stereotypes and biases, it can be challenging to continue to build yourself up. But despite the criticism, she persisted in doing what she loved and kept her attention on the true purposes of her art, which were to create for herself and those who value and identify with it.

Zawaideh was able to connect with others, which she described as her favorite part of the experience. To her, art is a way to connect with strangers and get to know them on a personal level. She aspires to create art that elicits a deeper sense of self-awareness in her audience, allowing her to feel more connected to them.

Zawaideh is currently a student at the Ringling College of Art and Design in Florida, where she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business of art and design. It is her goal to help people on their journeys of self-discovery through her art in the future. With this in mind, she has a goal of bringing people into her world by creating intimate art shows and allowing them to see it for themselves.

She encourages aspiring artists to take their time figuring out who they are and everything that surrounds them through their art. “It is one thing to create art, but quite another to create art with the intention of bettering yourself and others.” “You can never make a mistake if you are genuine in what you put out into the world,” said Zawaideh.

PM meets with head of Arab Tourism Organization

Prime Minister Bishr Khasawneh on Sunday received the head of the Arab Tourism Organization, Bandar Al Fhaid, who is visiting the Kingdom to participate in the seventh Medical Tourism World Summit.

The prime minister emphasized Jordan’s rich tourism, archaeological, and medical potentials, which make it a desirable travel destination, particularly for Arab medical tourists.

Khasawneh also underlined the importance of enhancing cooperation between Jordan and the Arab Tourism Organization in order to create tourism initiatives that help in luring more Arab visitors to Jordan, which is brimming with distinctive tourism levers on a regional and international scale.

He indicated that Jordan hopes that the designation of Madaba as the Arab Tourism Capital for 2022 will increase Arab and foreign tourist arrivals and support the tourism product.

The Prime Minister discussed the government’s efforts to assist the tourism industry, which was one of the hardest hit by the Covid-19 pandemic, noting that indicators and figures show that the industry is on the mend from the pandemic’s ramifications.

Al Fhaid, for his part, described Jordan as regional and global tourism pioneer, highlighting the Kingdom’s capacity to attract more tourists and tourism investments.

He stated that the organization is developing programs to promote medical tourism, emphasizing that Jordan is a major destination for Arab medical tourists as well as a suitable destination for Arab family tourism.
