He’s considered one of the best at that art, as several players like Reggie Miller, Gary Payton, Michael Jordan, Dominique Wilkins, and more, learned that Bird wasn’t somebody you could mess with. WHY ROSEN LAW: We encourage investors to select qualified counsel with a track record of success in leadership roles. DETAILS OF THE CASE: According to the lawsuit, defendants throughout the Class Period made false and/or misleading statements and/or failed to disclose that: (1) Berkeley Lights’ flagship instrument, the Beacon, suffered from numerous design and manufacturing defects including breakdowns, high error rates, data integrity issues and other problems, limiting the ability of biotechnology companies and research institutions to consistently use the machines at scale; (2) Berkeley Lights had received numerous customer complaints regarding the durability and effectiveness of Berkeley Lights’ automation systems, including complaints related to the design and manufacturing; (3) the actual market for Berkeley Lights’ products and services was a fraction of the $23 billion represented to investors because of, among other things, the relatively high cost of Berkeley Lights’ instruments and consumables and inability to provide the sustained performance necessary to justify these high costs; and (4) as a result, defendants’ statements to investors during the Class Period regarding Berkeley Lights’ business, operations, and financial results were materially false and misleading. When the true details entered the market, the lawsuit claims that investors suffered damages.

LH Legal Committee scheduled to debate election, party bills on Tuesday-Awdat

The Lower House Legal Committee announced that it will begin debating the two new draft laws for elections and political parties, as of next Tuesday, its head MP Abdel Moneim Awdat said.

Speaking at its meeting held Sunday, he noted the panel’s discussions sought to develop its work plan to deliberate the two draft laws.

Awdat noted the committee will launch “extensive” dialogues with all political parties, civil society organizations and stakeholders, and listen to all views with the aim of reaching the “highest” levels of national consensus in this regard.

The LH panel will start its future dialogue by meeting Election and Parties Subcommittee of the Royal Committee to Modernize the Political System (RCMPS), as stakeholders in making visions for such legislation, according to Awdat.

Noting its policy, he said the LH committee is “open listen to all opinions and suggestions about these two draft laws.”

Continuing: “Jordan enters its second centennial, seeking to launch a stage that ensures that Jordanians will move to a programmatic party life to have a basic and effective role in developing Jordan’s parliamentary landscape, which would make a qualitative shift that will positively reflect on strengthening the Kingdom’s democratic path.”
