Jordanian authorities thwart Captagon smuggling attempt

Jordan’s security forces stopped two trucks smuggling Captagon pills into the country at the Jaber customs point on the Syrian border on Wednesday. One of the trucks was carrying iron, while the other carried fruit, a media spokesperson for the customs department said. The drugs were hidden in special caches in the trucks, the spokesperson said. A report on the drug bust was presented to the Narcotics Control Department for further legal action. It was not clear how much Captagon was found. Captagon is an amphetamine-type stimulant. Weddle last played in a game on December 29, 2019. The 2007 second-round draft pick played one season with the Rams after three in Baltimore and nine with the Chargers.
